Patricia Halpin, 74 , of Vero Beach died Friday, October 28, 2011 at the Indian River Medical Center.

She was born March 3, 1937 in New York City, NY. She had been a resident of Vero Beach for 5 1/2 years, coming from Plainview, NY.

Mrs. Halpin was a parishioner of Saint John of the Cross. She was a resident of the Lakes of Pointe West.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Matthew Halpin; sons, John Halpin, Brian (Gina) Halpin, Kevin (Colleen) Halpin; daughters, Ellen Halpin, Doreen (James) Cass, Karen (Michael) Murray; brothers, Walter & Thomas Barry; eleven grandchildren, Briana, Jessica, Jacklyn, Samantha, Megan, Katie, Erin, Matthew, Grace, Liam, and Patrick.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Rose.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 from 2-5PM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A funeral mass will take place at Saint John of the Cross Catholic Church on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 1:00PM

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
