Patricia Sue Langbehn-Nelson, 76, of Vero Beach died Monday, March 5, 2012 at the VNA Hospice House.
Mrs. Nelson was born March 24, 1935 in Okmulgee, OK. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1957, coming from Oklahoma.
She was owner/operator of Langbehn's Bakery.
Patricia was a parishioner at Saint Helen Catholic Church. She was one of the original founders of the St. Helen Madames, and was a member of the Catholic Women's Society.
She served on the board of Saint Francis Manor in Vero Beach for 30 years, as well as social director and volunteer.
Patricia was a member of the Red Hat Society, and the Ovarian Cancer Support Group. She was an avid sports fan of all Oklahoma sports teams.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Art) Langbehn Noriega of Vero Beach, Leonissa (Tom) Langbehn-Dean of North Conway, NH, Cynthia (Bob) Langbehn Gruber of Vero Beach and Georgenna (Michael) Langbehn Biganzoli of Ocala; son, Wayne (Wendy) Langbehn of Pompano Beach; step-children, Brenda Williams, Soozi Schuble, Charlie Bill Nelson and Jani Young; grandchildren, Jessica Langbehn, Nicole Langbehn, Nathan Langbehn and Samantha Gruber; great-granddaughter, Layla Langbehn Lorefice; twelve step-grandchildren and thirteen step-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, "Wild" Bill Nelson.
Services: A Life Celebration will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 from 6-8PM, with a prayer service beginning at 7:30PM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. A funeral mass will be held at 10AM at Saint Helen Catholic Church on Saturday, March 10, 2012.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Saint Francis Manor at 1750 20th Avenue, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
