Patrick J. Ruggiero, 91, of Vero Beach, FL passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Grace Healthcare in Vero Beach, FL.
Patrick was born in New York City and moved to Vero Beach in 2005, coming from Astoria, NY.
Patrick worked for New York City as a building and road inspector. He attended St. John of the Cross Catholic Church.
Patrick is predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Barbara J. Ruggiero. He is survived by daughter Barbara (John) Lobmeyer; son Patrick (Julie); Sister Millie Bonadonna as well as three grandchildren Jackie, Lisa and Nicholas.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2017 from 4 PM to 6 PM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. A prayer service will be held at 5:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017 at 10AM at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2000 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery, 1216 14th St, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
The family suggests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
