Paul A Dithrich Jr,82, Vero Beach Florida. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 27, 2023.

He was born on June 27, 1940 in Pittsburgh PA to Appollonia Miller and Paul A Dithrich Sr. He attended Brockway area schools until he graduated from Brockway High School. He then joined the Navy in June of 1958 until June 1964 with an Honorable Discharge. He then met the love of his life, Karlene and married on January 28, 1967. They then moved to Westfield Ma to start their life together and where he would start his new job at Barnes Municipal Air National Guard in Westfield Ma.

In serving with the 104th Tactical Fighter Group, he was blessed with many lifelong friendships traveling the world along the way. He was awarded many decorations, metals and citations while rising to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. He was particularly proud of his service in the Massachusetts Air National Guard retiring in August 1993.

Throughout his life Paul enjoyed coaching soccer, basketball and much more. He volunteered at the Westfield High School football games. He also enjoyed singing with the men's choir at the Springfield Turnverein Inc.

In his retirement he also enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and volunteering with his community in Vero Beach Florida. Paul was predeceased by his parents and his wife Karlene and brother Robert Dithrich.

He is survived by his 3 children. Claire Savidia and husband Richard of Vero Beach, Florida, Lara Habura and husband Tony of Ballston Lake, New York and Eric Dithrich of Brimfield, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his sister, Zita Jennings and husband Bill of Cape May, New Jersey. He had 9 grandchildren that he leaves behind Shauna, Brittany, Jonathon, Samantha, Justin, Sarah, Jadon , Brian and Nehum, along with 3 great grandchildren Cole, Nadia and Logan. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews and beloved friends.
