Pauline Britt age 86 of Vero Beach passed away on February 12, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House of Vero Beach, FL. Pauline was born to Paul and Mabel Gross on January 14, 1927 in Starke, FL. Pauline will be remembered for her deep and devoted faith in God. She had a great love of her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved just hanging out with her family and sharing in family events. Pauline has a great ice tea recipe that the family is still sharing with people all over the United States. Pauline leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Paula (Don) Miller of Vero Beach, FL. and Deborah (Hank) Buchanan of Pawley's Island S.C.; grandchildren Christopher Miller of Palm Beach, FL., Shelby Miller of Vero Beach, FL., Justin and James Buchanan of North Virginia; great-grandchildren LILLY BRITT and ILLA BRITT of Cary, N.C.; Sister Grace Benjamin Sarasota, FL.; Pauline is predeceased by her husband of 36 years Jake Britt Jr. in 1978; she is also predeceased by her granddaughter Shannon Miller in 2009 who is the twin to Shelby Miller. Pauline took great pleasure in listening to the heart beat of Shannon when her heart was donated to a man who meet with the family after his surgery and allowed them to hear just how strongly it beat.
