Pauline Shreve Kennedy, age 86, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 1, 2023.

She is survived by her two sons, Carl (Linda) VanDyke of Vero Beach, and Raymond VanDyke of Erie, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, Summer VanDyke, and Andrew (Erin) VanDyke; four great grandchildren; her sister, Sandra Koehn; her brother, Frank Shreve; four step children; as well as several step grandchildren and great-grandchildren, wonderful nephews, nieces, and friends.

Throughout her life, she worked as a waitress, bank teller, cashier, and secretary.  When she wasn't working, she enjoyed crocheting, needlepoint and puzzles.  However, her greatest passion was bowling!  She spent many decades in numerous leagues and until recently served as the secretary of two.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, Vick and Mildred Shreve; two husbands, Hugh (Mick) Kennedy and Paul VanDyke;  her son, Gerald VanDyke; granddaughter, Ashley Yingling; and her sister Karen Fischer; and brother Donald Shreve.

The family will gather to visit with friends on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at the Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral & Crematory, 1950 20th Street in Vero Beach, beginning at 5 p.m.  A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mindy Serafin officiating.

Flowers are welcome, however, memorial donations are requested to be made to the VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida, 32960.
