Pauline G. McDonough, 93, formerly of Ft Pierce, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at Americare Assisted Living in Deltona.
Mrs. McDonough was born March 19, 1916 in Chelsea, MA and had moved to Spanish Lakes Country Club, Ft. Pierce, FL in 1982 from Reading, MA. She moved from Florida after the 2004 hurricanes to California, Texas, and most recently Deltona.
She had been a secretary at Reading Memorial High School before her retirement. She loved her neighbors at Spanish Lakes. She enjoyed holding tea parties, singing in the chorus, and playing on the bocci, bowling and golf leagues. She also volunteered at the Mustard Seed Thrift Store in Ft. Pierce and tutored at Ft Pierce Elementary schools.
Survivors include her daughters Barbara Anne Minnehan of Westlake Village, CA and Gail McDonough of Deltona; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas R. McDonough.
