Perry Charles Lane, Jr., 84, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away on October 12, 2024. He was born on September 22, 1940, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Perry Charles Lane and Verla Tryon Lane.

Perry is survived by his beloved wife, Joann; sons David Lane and his wife Ellen, and John Lane and his partner Shannon Bragg; grandchildren Ashley Lane and Abigail Lane; step-grandchildren Tiffany, Lisa, and Ricky Wilton; and Shannon's children, Logan and Morgan Bragg.

Early in his career, Perry worked in the space industry at Cape Canaveral, Florida, where he met Joann, the love of his life. After relocating to Texas, he learned the title insurance business. In 1977, they returned to Vero Beach, where Perry founded his own title insurance company, Security Title.

He was an active member of the First Methodist Church of Vero Beach and participated in their Pairs & Spares Sunday School Class. Additionally, he served as a past president of The Exchange Club in Vero Beach.

Perry cherished time spent with family and friends at their cabin on Blue Cypress Lake, where they enjoyed fishing and boating. A true car enthusiast, he had a passion for Corvettes and was an avid coin collector. He also enjoyed golfing in his free time.

A memorial service to celebrate Perry's life will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 11 AM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
