Peter L. Paskowski
- (66Years Old) of Vero Beach, FL (formerly of Salem, MA) on February 20, following a brief illness.
Born in Salem, MA on June 10, 1943 to Paul Paskowski and Blanche (Buba) Paskowski (both late of Salem, MA). He attended St Johns Prep HS and University of Massachusetts.
A longtime resident of Salem, MA, he was employed for many years with General Electric, GTE Sylvania, Mobil Solar Corp and Ryan Racing in MA.
He was an avid softball player and bowler in the 60s & 70s and a fervent golfer for much of his life. He was elected and served as a passionate and fiery Salem City Councilor in the late 90s.
After moving to Vero Beach 3 years ago, he served on the Board of Directors of the Village Green Homeowners Association and was a communicant at the St John of the Cross Catholic Church.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Dina Paskowski, of Danvers, MA; a daughter of CA; a brother, Thomas Paskowski of Nevada; and a fiance, Jackie McKenna of Vero Beach, FL. He also leaves 5 wonderful grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his infant son; his brother, Paul Paskowski; and his sister, Joan Rochon.
A Memorial Mass is planned for Saturday, March 6th at St John the Baptist Church in Salem, MA at 10AM.
A private burial is planned at Greenlawn Cemetery in Salem, MA.
