PETER GEORGE PETROPOULOS
Peter George Petropoulos, 79, of Vero Beach, Florida died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mr. Petropoulos was born December 24, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey to George and Victoria Petropoulos. He was a graduate of Rutgers University and was the owner and principle software engineer of a computer software firm. He moved to Vero Beach eighteen years ago from Randolph, New Jersey. In his retirement, his passion was playing in the senior softball league in tournaments around Florida and across the country.
Survivors include his wife of forty-eight years, Doris, son Greg (Rachel) of Sewanee, Tenn. and daughter Tovi Kiss (Michael) of Holland, Mich. and five grandchildren: Peter A. Petropoulos, Zoe Petropoulos, Alexandra Kiss, Morgan Kiss and Mitchell Kiss. Also surviving is a sister, Helen Cap (John) of West Orange, NJ and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his sister Persephone and a nephew.
Services: A memorial service will be held at 3:00pm Monday, September 27, 2010 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
