Peter "Ron" Stiansen

Peter "Ron" Stiansen passed peacefully on Saturday September 7, 2013 surrounded by his loving family.
Ron was born in 1932 in Staten Island, NY and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 13 years.
He is survived by his devoted wife Luella of 24 years, 6 children, 2 step-children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Ron was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy. After a long career in the telephone system, he retired as a manager from Bell Atlantic. He served many years as a dedicated NJ volunteer fireman.

He was a member of the Vero Beach Power Squadron and Grand Harbor Golf and Beach Club.
He enjoyed boating, golfing, fishing and traveling. He was a loving father and dedicated provider.

A Life Celebration Gathering and memorial service will take place in November.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the VNA Hospice or Grand Harbor Community Outreach Program.
