Philip J. Duprey

Philip J. Duprey, 80, of Ft. Pierce, FL died April 12, 2012 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.

Mr. Duprey was born September 17, 1931 in Peru, NY. He had been a resident of Ft. Pierce for 25 years, coming from Bristol, CT.

He had worked for Bristol Brass of Connecticut, prior to his retirement he was employed by Tropicana of Ft. Pierce.

He was a member of the Elks Club of Bristol; Masonic Lodge #205; Eastern Star Chapter 135 and the High Twelve Club all of Vero Beach .

He attended Christ Church of Vero Beach.

Survivors include his wife Antoniette (Toni) Duprey; son Daniel Duprey; daughter Christina Duprey Rogers; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers Mel Duprey and Howard Duprey; sister Theresa Sheffield; step-sons Lee Calloway, John Calloway; two step-grandsons and three step-great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Philip and Vermadelle Duprey, sister Carolyn and brother Richard.

Friends may call from 6-6:30 PM with a service at 6:30 PM on Friday, April 20, 2012 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach, FL. A reception will follow at the Masonic Hall, 1959 14th Ave., Vero Beach, FL.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol, CT.
