Philip Katrovitz, 87 of Vero Beach, passed away March 9, 2019. Born on September 7, 1931 to Louis Katrovitz and Belle Greenberg in Memphis,TN, he ultimately joined the Navy -was a plank owner on first nuclear-powered Enterprise aircraft carrier and a lab technician.

He was a member of Humanists of Treasure Coast; UUFVB; VFW, and facilitated a SMART Recovery meeting in Vero for several years.

He's survived by his wife, Cathy; sister Ruth Rhodes of Memphis, and half-brother Jake Green of Coconut Creek, FL; children, Rosalyn, Phyllis, Bryon, and Alice; step-children, Charlotte and Deborah.  Also leaves behind many wonderful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends and associates in the area.

Predeceased by his brother, Saul Kay and a half-sister Goldie Gold, of Memphis, along with his parents.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
