Philip Albert Sailors, 84, of Jensen Beach, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the Parkway Health and Rehabilitation Center in Stuart.
Mr. Sailors was born March 13, 1927 in Nicholson, GA. He had been a resident of Jensen Beach for 17 years, coming from Georgia.
He served in the United States Army Air Corps.
He worked as a Telephone Technician with the Southern Bell Telephone Company for 31 years in Miami.
He was an usher at Saint Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Jensen Beach, and was a member of the Knights of Colombus.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Barbara H. Sailors; sons, John J. Sailors of Tallahassee, and James P. Sailors of Groton, CT; daughter, Ree Sailors of Washington DC; and two grandchildren.
