Pierre "Pete" Joseph Marcolina, 82, of Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania, passed away Saturday, March 09, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House. Mr. Marcolina was born May 31, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA. He had been a part-time resident of Vero Beach for 15 years. Prior to his retirement he was President of Marcolina Brothers Inc., his family's business for 45 years. Pete was of the Catholic faith, and attended the St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill, PA, and Holy Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. He was a member of the Holy Cross choir. He was a member of the Italian-American Club. He was an avid fisherman and golfer. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Amelia "Geri" Marcolina; sons, Peter J. Marcolina of Chadds Ford, PA, Daniel K. Marcolina of Oreland, PA and Kirk P. Marcolina of Sydney, Australia; and 3 grandchildren. Services: No local services are planned at this time. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 9:30-11:00 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA 19444. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham Township, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
