Priscilla C. Coughlin, 93 died January 16, 2009 after a long illness.
She was born in Rollinsford, NH on October 6, 1915 a daughter of Charles Harold and Ruth Roberts Dodge. She moved to Vero Beach in 1986 from Biddeford, Maine.
Mrs. Coughlin worked 47 ½ years with the Maine Employment Security Commission as an Employment Interviewer retiring in 1984.
Among her interest she loved playing bridge and was a member of TOPS for 30 years. She was a Los Angeles Dodger grapefruit league baseball season ticket holder.
She was predeceased by her first husband, John Pierce, in 1964 and her second husband, Francis M. Coughlin in 1984. She was also predeceased by three brothers, Harold Dodge, Roberts Dodge and Bernard Dodge; and a sister, Shirley Fields.
Survivors include her two sons, Richard Pierce of Laurel, Maryland and Wayne Pierce of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Connie Pierce of Vero Beach and Priscilla Pena of Vero Beach; two stepsons, Frederick Coughlin of Alfred, Maine and James Coughlin of Colorado.
a stepdaughter, Constance Laflamme of Biddeford, Maine; twelve grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services: The family will receive friends 10:30 - 11:00 AM at the Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A memorial service will be celebrated 11 AM, on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Chapel of Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Biddeford, Maine in the spring of 2009.
