Priscilla A. Marsh 80, of Vero Beach, Florida, formerly of Tewksbury, MA passed away in Vero Beach, after a lengthy illness. She was the oldest of three daughters of the late Thelma Daly Emerson, growing up in the Bradford section of Haverhill, MA attending Bradford Elementary schools, graduating from Haverhill High School, class of 1959. She married her husband, Bob, in 1959, making their home and raising their two children in Tewksbury, MA, Priscilla was a dedicated employee of Tewksbury State Hospital for 38 years, starting a s a Nurse's aide, moving on to the Administration Office in the Nursing Department. At the age of 56, she returned to school and achieved the honor of being on the National Dean's List at Northern Essex Community College, receiving a certificate in Medical Terminology. After retiring, she enjoyed working for the hospital doing transcription.
Priscilla and Bob enjoyed camping in Exeter, NH and at Wellington Camping Park in Lee, NH for Many years.
In her spare time, Priscilla enjoyed all varieties of crafting, excelling in quilting and knitting. She skillfully created several beautiful quilts and knitting projects from infant sets to adult sweaters and shawls. She also was a wonderful cook and enjoyed sharing her favorites with friends and family. She also volunteered with the Special Olympics for many years.
Priscilla is predeceased by her husband, Robert Marsh Sr of 51 years. She leaves her son Robert R. Marsh Jr, of Deltona, FL and her daughter Christine A. marsh of Vero Beach. She also leaves her two sisters, Barbara Guertin (Ronald) of Newburyport, MA and Arline Janvrin (Robert) of Hampstead, NH. She leaves 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her sister-in-law Dorothy Tisdell of Fountain Hills, AZ and long-time great friends, Micky and Judy Duggan of Bedford, NH.
We would also like to extend a very special heartfelt thanks to Priscilla's neighbors in Midway Estates for their many years of love, support and assistance. Also, our most sincere thanks to the staff of VNA Hospice for the wonderful care provided. We would also like to extend a very special thanks to Elizabeth Crissman for providing exceptional love and care.
