Rafela Toribio's Obituary
Rafela Toribio, age 33, died Sunday, November 21, 2010. Although born in North Carolina, she was a lifetime resident of Okeechobee.
Survivors include her husband of twelve years, Ricardo; sons, Richard (Samantha) Nieto, Reynaldo Nieto, Daniel Jimenez, and Jesus Toribio, all of Okeechobee; daughters, Rosa Maria Medrano of Okeechobee, Esmeralda Toribio of Kissimmee; grandson, Rafael Nieto of Okeechobee;; parents, Reynaldo and Rosa Nieto of Okeechobee; brothers, Ray Nieto, Jr., Jose J. Nieto; sisters, Mary (Carlos) Rivera, Irma (Alvaro) Sanchez; maternal grandmother, Carmen Garcia, all of Okeechobee; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Services will be held Saturday, November 27, at 11:00 a.m. at the Buxton-Seawinds Chapel at Abundant Blessings Church. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Matthew and Paul Buxton of Buxton-Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 4550 Hwy. 441 N., Okeechobee, FL, 863-357-7283.
