Obituary

Raymond Ray Wayne Aspden, 55, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, April 16, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Aspden was born February 3, 1954 in Milford, CT and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 32 years, coming here from his place of birth.
He was a certified electrician and owned Tropical Home services. Mr. Aspden was a member of the First Baptist Church, a Little League umpire, girls softball coach and fund raiser for the first girls competitive fast-pitch softball team. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed woodworking and canoeing.
Survivors include his wife of 32 years Candee Knight Aspden of Vero Beach; daughter Nicole Aspden Garvey, her husband Trevor and their children Kira, Kate, and Timothy, of Palm Bay, FL; Kelly Aspden Sullivan, and her children Elizabeth, Kaily, and Caden, of Vero Beach; Shelby Aspden Beckham, and her husband Jack, of Vero Beach; two sisters, Michelle Burnham and Heather Thomas both of Vero Beach; and his mother Betty Greene Aspden of Vero Beach.
He was predeceased by his father Raymond Aspden.
Services: A memorial celebration will be held 11 AM, Monday, April 20, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Vero Beach.
