Raymond Edward Graves, 63, passed from this life on February 11, 2016 at his residence in Vero Beach, FL.

He was born September 21, 1952 in Chillicothe, Ohio . His mother Ruth Joanne Mathers survives. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Eugene Graves and stepfather Gordon D. Mathers.

Surviving are his beloved daughter Abigail Graves Persinger, son-in-law Kenneth Persinger, his adored granddaughter Gracie Persinger, and his former wife, recent companion and caretaker Sandra Damico Graves. Also surviving are his sisters Jan Graves Gugeler and Vicky Mathers Canipe.

He was a 1970 graduate of Chillicothe High School. After serving in the US Army, he returned to Ohio and civilian life as a banker and business owner. He served in the banking industry for 30 years. He was known for his infectious laugh and his storytelling ability. In 2012 he relocated to Vero Beach,Florida.

Arrangements are being handled by Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Florida. There will be no services conducted there. A memorial service in Chillicothe, Ohio will be held at a future date.
