Raymond Hopkins, Jr., 70 of Barefoot Bay, FL died Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Indian River Medical center in Vero Beach, FL.
He was born December 14, 1938 in Allentown, NJ and was a resident of Barefoot Bay since 2004 coming from Wrightstown, NJ.
Mr. Hopkins was the owner of a refrigeration and air conditioning company and was a member of the Moose lodge and the American Legion. He served in the US Marines during Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 13 years Elsa Hopkins of Barefoot Bay, FL; step-sons James Russell of Barefoot Bay, FL, Joel Gabing of Moberly, MO and one grandson.
Friends may call from 2-4:00 Pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at Seawinds Funeral Home with a service at 4:00 PM with the Sebastian Area Veterans Honor Guard.
