Obituary

Raymond G. LeFrancois, 64, of Vero Beach, passed away June 13th, 2021, after being hospitalized for 20 days with double pneumonia and after battling polyarteritis nodosa, the most severe form of vasculitis, over the last 6 years. He was born in Waterbury, CT., son of Ange, and Madeline (Brodeur) LeFrancois. After relocating to Florida in 1979 and living in Deerfield, Lake Worth, and Port Saint Lucie, he was most recently a resident of Vero Beach. Prior to early retirement resulting from his vasculitis disability , he was a custom furniture and cabinet builder with extreme attention to detail, ability to envision and plan future needs into his designs, and alwaysdelivering beautiful results. He enjoyed NASCAR, playing darts, the beach, finding new restaurants, cooking with his wife in the kitchen, working in the garage with his son on cars, and home projects, working on the "honey-do scroll", and especially loved spending time and making memories with all of his friends and family. Ray was a devoted father, husband, and son. He enjoyed life, was lighthearted, social, fun-loving, had an amazing sense of humor, and he created a memory with each passing day. He never missed an opportunity to share information, or a joke.

Ray is survived by his wife of 24 years, Michelle(Zukoski) LeFrancois; son, Michael LeFrancois; 2 nieces Renee and Terri; 1 nephew (Danny) sister-in-law (Kathy), many cousins, mother and father-in-law, Georgette and Richard Zukoski. He is predeceased by his mom, dad, and brother (Daniel).

Memorial Service: Friday , July 16 th , 20 21, at 10:00 am at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church 7550 26th Street, Vero Beach, Fl. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made to the Vasculitis Foundation in Ray's name. https://www. vasculitisfoundation.org/ donate-to-the-vf/
