Raymond Rampino, husband, father, and proud American, passed away surrounded by his family on May 22, 2024. Raymond was born on March 28, 1947, in Cambridge, MA, Raymond led a life marked by service, dedication, and love.

Raymond married the love of his life, Nancy Rampino, on December 28, 1968. Their bond spanned over five decades. From 1965 to 1972, Raymond served his country with honor in Vietnam as a member of the 45th Tactical Fighter Squadron. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant and was a lifelong member of AMVETS, where he was deeply involved in numerous charitable endeavors.

Following his honorable discharge, Raymond pursued his passion for aeronautics by attending the Wentworth Institute. His career saw him at Merck, where he was crucial in delivering medication shipments and ensuring vital medical supplies reached those in need.

In retirement, Raymond found joy in gardening and driving his golf cart. He was an active volunteer for the St. Rocco Festival. He took great pride in preparing, cooking, and delivering holiday meals to elderly community members in Countryside. Raymond always had a project going on.

He is survived by his cherished children: Kristen, Greg and Courtney. His family is grateful for the exceptional end-of-life care provided by the professionals at Comfort Keepers and VNA Hospice. As Raymond reunites with his beloved Nancy, let us remember him for his legacy of love, service, and dedication to family and country.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM, Tuesday May 28, 2024 at St. John of The Cross Catholic Church, Vero Beach.
