Raymond L. Ray Anthony, 85, of Stuart, FL died January 13, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice Home in Stuart.
He was born in Providence, RI and lived in Stuart for the past 20 years, coming from Warwick, RI.
He was a World War II veteran serving in the Pacific Theatre.
Before retirement, he was employed in Rhode Island by the United Wire Company, Tucker Seafood and the Greater Providence Deposit & Trust Company and ended his career as a member of the grounds crew at the Martin County Golf & Country Club.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Laura Anthony; son Albert and daughters Janice Tucker of Stuart and Linda D. Plourde of Cumberland, RI two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services: A military honors service was held at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth on January 21, 2010 followed by a reception for family and friends at his home.
