Reginald E. Jenkins, 86 of Barefoot Bay, FL died Friday, January 16, 2009 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, FL.
He was born June 26, 1922 in Moscow,ID and was a resident of Barefoot Bay for 35 years, coming from Leesburg, GA.
Mr. Jenkins was a retired lieutenant commander from the US Navy, served in the World War II, Korean and Vietnam wars.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Mary E. Jenkins of Barefoot Bay, FL; daughters, Linda McMorray of Augusta, GA, Cathy Smith of Tallahassee, FL; son, Bruce Jenkins of Barefoot Bay, FL; sister, Barb Orem; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Barefoot Bay: 303 Barefoot Blvd, Barefoot Bay, FL 32976-7420.
Private service will be held at a later date.
