Richard Arthur Booms, 80, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at Palm Garden of Vero Beach.
He was born November 4, 1927 in Detroit, Michigan and moved to Vero Beach 25 years ago from Northville, MI.
Prior to retiring he owned Excavation Engineering, Inc. and he was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Florence A. Booms of Vero Beach; sons Raymond A. Booms of Milford, MI, Richard A. Booms of Northville, MI and Thomas J. Booms of South Lyon, MI; daughter Ruth Ann Jirasck of MI; son Timothy J. Booms of White Lake, MI; daughter Mary E. Sellers Des Moine, IA; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
