Richard Mason Donahue, of Fort Pierce, died August 11, 2019.

Born May 26, 1938, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was a son of late Joseph and Jessie Donahue.

Richard enlisted in the United States Marine Corp after High School. He was honorably discharged in February, 1963.

After the Marine Corp, Richard graduated from Boston University with an engineering degree and worked in technical sales for many years. Later in life, Richard invested in real estate properties.

Richard enjoyed playing bridge, dancing, and coffee with his friends at Spanish Lakes.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Barbara Jean Donahue, to whom his was married June 3, 1963; a brother, Robert Donahue; and his son, Dale.

Richard is survived by his son, Robert; his daughter, Lisa; his Grandchildren, Emma, and Thomas Boisvert; cousins, Maureen Goodwin of Hanover, Ma; Jack O'Neil of Sumter,

South Carolina; and Larry O'Neil of Cummings, Ga.

Private services are to be held at a later date.
