Richard M. "Dutch" Dorion of South Boston, MA and Vero Beach, FL, passed away on November 30, 2016 on his 85th birthday.

Dutch has been a resident of Vero Beach for the last 20 years, after retiring from the Boston Fire Dept where he served for 25 years. Dutch joins his beloved family in heaven, his mother Anna (Dwyer), father James, and siblings James, Bernice and John (Buddy) along with his many loving animals, Gallie, Romeo, Lincoln, Brownie and numerous four legged friends. He leaves behind his devoted wife, Mary "Betty" (nee Sances) Dorion, sister, Anne "Narnie" Feeney, son, Paul (Greta) Zaniboni; grandchildren, Mia (L'il Girl), Joelle and Christian he was also the devoted uncle of many beloved nieces and nephews and devoted brother of many brother and sister in-laws.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Monday, December 5, 2016 followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 3 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the VNA Hospice of Indian River County.
