Richard J. Luniewski born April 23, 1940; died on November 7, 2018 in Vero Beach, Florida. He was a long-time resident of Gallupville, NY.   He was the son of the late Alexander and Estella Luniewski Sr.   Dick graduated from Schoharie Central School and Cobleskill College for Horticulture and Greenhouse Management.  He worked for Union College for over twenty five years and ran Rundy Cup Meadow in Gallupville.   As a young man, he enjoyed gardening, raising and showing Blue-Tick coonhounds and hunting raccoons for the local farmers. As he matured, he loved going to auctions, garage sales and flea markets with Jann, his wife of 29 years.   When they moved to Florida, he fell in love with the beautiful blue skies, the warm weather and the laid back friendly people.

Dick leaves behind his loving wife, Jann Downing Bolton and two step-children, Christopher Paprocki (Andrea) of Rochester, NY and their two sons, Steven Paprocki and Jordon Paprocki as well as two great-granddaughters, Olivia and Layla of Denver, Colorado and Karen Bolton Bedell (Mark) and their two sons, Erick Bedell and Joshua Bedell all of Averill Park, N.Y.  He was predeceased by his brother Alexander Luniewski (Doris) and his sister Antonia Bogardus (Bernard).  He is survived by three sisters, Jeanne (Phil) Stevens, Sandra Kelsch and Marcia (Tom) Adams and Uncle Chester Rukat.    He has numerous nephews and nieces including a special niece, Tina Kelsch.

At the request of the family, there will be no services or visiting hours.
