Richard Mac Dennis McIntyre, 85, of Port Saint Lucie, FL died Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Saint Lucie Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mr. McIntyre was born April 17, 1924 in Painesville, OH and had been a resident of Port Saint Lucie for 24 years, coming here from Springboro, OH.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had worked as a Salesman for 21 years with Cannon Corporation and was a member of the Elks lodge for 40 years in both Port Saint Lucie Lodge 2658 and Ohio.
Survivors include his two sons, Larry McIntyre Of Columbus, OH and Dennis McIntyre of Hamilton, MT, daughter Sandra Spinosi of Fort Pierce, FL, brother Ralph McIntyre of Warren, OH, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife Frances McIntyre in 2001.
Services: A Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
