Richard John Rankin's Obituary
Richard J. Rankin, 81 of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, February 14, 2010 at his residence.
He was born January 1, 1929 in Hartford, CT and was a resident of Vero Beach for 15 years, coming from Enfield, CT.
Mr. Rankin retired from Pratt-Whitney Tool Division after 30 years as a straightener and was a member of the Elks Lodge. He served in the US Navy during Korean War. He was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years Doris H. Rankin of Vero Beach, FL; daughter Dorean Brintle of Yarmouth, ME; sister Mary Andrews of Barefoot Bay, FL and one granddaughter.
