Richard Vauter, 79, Vero Beach, Florida died on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 with his wife Bonnie by his side.

He was born to the late Peter and Molly (Erzen) Vauter on February 8, 1944 in Forest City, PA. Richard graduated from the Forest City Regional High School and later attended Penn State University where he graduated with a BS Degree in Accounting, and subsequently to Marywood University for an MBA. He went on to work for Hercules Cement Company in Stockertown, PA. as a Sales Manager. In addition, he worked as a part time professor for several colleges to include his former alma mater, Penn State. Richard lived most of his work life in the Allentown area, but after he retired he briefly lived at Elk Lake in Waymart and subsequently moved to Vero Beach in Florida.

Richard was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach and an active participant in Bible Study. He loved traveling with his wife Bonnie, and was an avid golfer and fisherman.

Richard is survived by his daughter Rebecca and her husband Peter Calvert of Richmond, VA., a daughter Amy of Bethlehem, PA, two grandchildren Luke and Makayla, and his brother Peter and wife Denise of Forest City, PA. He was preceded in death by his brother Mark.

A funeral service will be held at the Grace Baptist Church in Vero Beach, Florida at 1pm on 13 January, 2024.
