Robert Bradbury Arnold Sr., 88, of Palm City, FL died Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Waters Edge in Palm City, FL.
Mr. Arnold was born March 21, 1921 in Jamaica, NY and moved to Palm City fourteen years ago from Coral Gables, FL.
He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky in 1943. Prior to his retirement he had been a Product Design Engineer. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II..
Mr. Arnold was a member of the Palm City Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Anna Frances Arnold of Palm City; sons Robert Arnold Jr. and George Arnold both of Florida; daughter Susan (Roger) Yoakum of California; step-son John Kelsey and step-daughter Joanne Kelsey-Carr both of Palm City, FL; and one grandchild.
Services: A memorial service will be held 11:00AM, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Palm City Presbyterian Church. Burial will be Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
