Robert A. "Bobby" "BJ" Jones, 66, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 in Tennessee. Born in Pennsylvania he lived in Vero Beach for 32 years. He graduated from Vero Beach High School where he played on the football and baseball team. He worked for Piper Aircraft, and was a manager and bartender for "Dominos" and "Village South" restaurants in Vero Beach. He was a member of Saint Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, and later Saint Therese Catholic Church in Tennessee. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Moose. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Pamela Jean Jones; sons, Bobby, Michael and Sean Jones; sisters, Ellie Miller (Randy) and Doris Maughan; brother, Howard Jones (Marianne); and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Rich. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach.
