Robert "Captain Bob" Lewis Carter, 81, of Vero Beach, Fl, went to be with Jesus Christ, his Lord and Savior on November 30th, 2015. Born January 23, 1934 in Miami, Fl.

Bob was owner-operator of Carter's Welding Supply in Ocala, Fl, upon retirement to Vero Beach, he received his Captains license for site seeing and fishing charters.

Bob was a dedicated Christian, with a giving heart, and a member of Vero Christian Church.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Mertie Clyde Carter and Paul W. Carter, by his brother, Paul T. Carter, and by his son, Robert Michael Carter and his daughter, Sharon Clarke and by his grandson, Robert James Carter.

Bob leaves behind his beloved wife, Cynthia Carter, 10 days prior to their 50th wedding anniversary, his son, Scott Carter and daughter, Shelby Keuthan, granddaughters, Madeline Gilligan, Elizabeth Clarke, Allison Clarke and grandson, William Clarke, and brothers, Ronald Carter and Richard Carter and sister, Mary Ann Wilson and four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, Vero Beach, Fl.
