Robert W. Diemer, 73, of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach.

Mr. Diemer was born December 9, 1938 in New York City, NY and moved to Vero Beach 10 years ago coming from Watchung, NJ.

Prior to retirement he was a CFO for Pershing Clearing house in Jersey City, NJ.

He served in the United States Air force Reserves. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years Barbara Diemer of Vero Beach, FL; son Robert Diemer of West Palm Beach, FL; daughter Tracy Castle of Alexandria, VA ; brother Richard Diemer of Mountain Side, NJ and four grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be at 11 am on Saturday April 14, 2012 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Friday, April 13, 2012 at Cox-Gifford-Seawind Funeral Home.
