Obit: Robert Hobart Emerson
Robert Hobart Emerson, 92, of Vero Beach, FL died Tuesday, March 23, 2011 at the VNA/Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Emerson was born April 29, 1918 in Montabello, CA and moved to Orlando, FL in 1971 from Odenton, MD prior to relocating in Vero Beach.
He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Vero Beach and had been a machinist prior to his retirement. He had worked for Nevamar in Odenton and L. & M. Manufacturing in Orlando.
Survivors include his son Col. Robert Harry Emerson, USAF Ret. of Dayton, OH; son Joseph Edward Emerson of Heathsville, VA; son Glenn Alan Emerson of Monroe, MI; brother Gilbert Emerson of GA; sister Genevieve Good of Felton, DE; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Emerson and a brother James Emerson.

Services: A Life Celebration Memorial Service for Mr. Emerson will take place 11 AM, Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church in Vero Beach.
