Robert Charles Evans 67, of Vero Beach, FL passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 at the Moffett Cancer Center, in Tampa, FL.
Mr. Evans was born December 5, 1942 in Syracuse, NY, He graduated from St. Lucys Academy in 1960, at the age of 17 he joined the Navy, serving 4 years. After an honorable discharge, Bob started his apprenticeship with the Steam Fitters Local 267. He retired in 1994 to Vero Beach, FL, where he worked for Pointe West & Vista Plantation Golf Courses, he also enjoyed volunteering at the Indian River Medical Center, in Vero Beach, FL.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years; Margaret Evans, of Vero Beach, FL.
Daughter; Heather Flynn, of Troy, NY; Brother, George Evans, of Liverpool, NY; Sisters, Rosemary White of St. Petersburg, FL & Nancy Yates, of Hahira, GA; Three grandchildren
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 10:00 am at St. Helens Catholic Church, 2050 Vero Beach Avenue, Vero Beach, FL, 32960
Final Interment will take place in Syracuse, NY at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to; Indian River Medical Center, 1000 36th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960
