Robert "Bob" Gaudet, 86, of Fort Pierce, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife, Joann & his sister, Doris & her husband Larry.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Bob attended Marist College/ Marist Brothers Seminary in Poughkeepsie, NY. He proudly served in the Navy for four years. He eventually realized his true calling was to be a devoted husband and father. Bob and his first wife (Deanna) raised two daughters in Connecticut, where his career path led him to Omnipoint/T-Mobile, and later he became a respected supervisor in supermarket construction. A man of many talents and passions, Bob was an active member of the Lions Club, where he formed lifelong friendships.
Bob had a deep love for Corvettes, owning and showcasing two of his own at car shows, where he earned numerous trophies and awards. In 2003, he relocated to Vero Beach, where he met and married his second wife, Joann Tuttolomondo. Together, they enjoyed a vibrant social life, including karaoke nights and gatherings with friends at the Elks and Veterans Clubs. Bob's exceptional skills in home remodeling and upgrades were evident in the beautiful transformations he made to their home.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, Evariste and Jeannette, and his brother, Raymond, who passed away in 2022.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joann Tuttolomondo; his daughters, Joanne Gaudet and her partner Tony, along with her son Dustin, and Jacqueline Wrinn and her husband Bob, with their children, Stephanie and Kyle (Amanda). He also leaves behind his two sisters, Rita Arsenault and her husband Bob, and Doris Mohs and her husband Larry.
A memorial service to celebrate Bob's remarkable life and the many people he touched will be held on August 24, 2024, at 3 pm at St. Augustine Episcopal Church, 475 43rd Ave, Vero Beach, FL 32968. Bob's legacy of love, friendship, and passion for life will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
