Robert J. Hedges' Obituary
Robert J. Hedges, 75, of Stuart, FL died Monday, May 4, 2009 at Parkway Health Care.
Mr. Hedges was born November 2, 1933 in Cedar Rapids, IA and moved to Stuart 15 years ago from Midlothian, IL.
Prior to his retirement he had been Sales Manager for Blue M. Electric an Environmental Equipment Manufacturing Company and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, Community and County Sheriffs Department Volunteer.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Barbara Hedges of Stuart, FL; daughter Sharon Hensel and son Timothy Hedges both of Midlothian, IL; brother William Hedges of Port St. Lucie, FL; and two grandchildren.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated, 10 AM, Friday, May 8, 2009, at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Stuart, FL with a reception following at St. Lucie Falls Club House. Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL at a later date.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the family, 2516 SW Versailles Terrace, Stuart, FL 34997.
