Robert "Robbie" Todd Helpling

July 1, 1964 – February 18, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, son, and friend, Robert "Robbie" Todd Helpling, who left us on February 18, 2025, at the age of 60.  He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara Krieger, and stepfather, Art Krieger, his brother Keith Helpling, his sister Mari Ann Hutchinson (Mike), his stepbrother Jay Krieger (Gillian), as well as his nephews, and a large circle of family and friends, including his cherished girlfriend, April Holton.  Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Robert Helpling.

Robbie was a dedicated mechanic at Orchid Island Golf Club for 35 years, where he was respected by many for his skill and hardworking nature.  A true adventurer at heart Robbie found joy in the simple pleasures of life – whether it was hanging out with friends at the Tiki, taking Sunday boat trips to the inlet, or enjoying his passions for airboating, motorcycle riding, and fast cars, all things he enjoyed doing with his father and brother.  Robbie's zest for life was infectious, and his friendship meant the world to many.

Although we will deeply miss his presence here on Earth, we take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain.  Robbie will forever be remembered for his loyalty, his love of life, and the many memories he created with his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the VNA Hospice House, 920 37th Place, Suite 101, Vero Beach, FL 32960, whose compassionate care and support were invaluable during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Robbie.  You will forever be in our hearts.
