After a long illness, "Bob" passed on from this life at the age of 81 years at the Hospice House in Vero Beach, Florida. He was born in Utah and grew up in the Salt Lake City area, graduating from Granite High School. He joined the United States Army and served 2 years, several months in Iceland. In Seattle he met and married Susan Spangler, his forever nurse. They recently celebrated 50 years of matrimony. Bob enjoyed raising his family in the Pacific Northwest. His hobbies included chess, jogging, and travel. Taking early retirement the Hollands moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1997.
