Robert J. Johnson, 84 of Barefoot Bay, FL died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at Sebastian River Medical Center in Sebastian, FL.
He was born February 11, 1925 in St. Paul, MN and was a resident of Barefoot Bay, FL since 1993, coming from Longville, MN.
Mr. Johnson had worked for St. Pauls Police Department for 23 years as a police sergeant. He was a member of the Longville Community Church, Masonic Lodge, he was an avid golfer and loved to fly. He served in the US Army during WWII.
Survivors include his wife of years Uta Johnson of Barefoot Bay, FL; sons Gary Johnson of Golden Valley, MN, Alan Johnson of Wilsonville, OR; daughters Nancy Regan of Fargo, ND, Roberta Paskett of Woodbury, MN; two step-children, ten grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Joes Club, 7951 Ron Beatty Blvd., Micco, FL 32976.
Friends may call from 2-3:00 PM on Friday, January 15, 2010 at Seawinds Funeral Home Chapel in Sebastian, Florida, with a service at 3:00 PM with Military Honors by Sebastian River Area Veterans Honor Guard.
