Robert Atwood Keefe, 84, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away December 10, 2013 at Indian River Estates Willowbrooke Court.
He was born in Proctor, VT, had been a resident of Florida for 15 years and moved to Vero Beach in 2005.
Mr. Keefe was a veteran of the United States Air Force, having served during the Korean Conflict.
Bob graduated from M.I.T. with a Master's degree in civil engineering. He worked 23 years for the Greater Cincinnati Airport and retired in 1990 as Director of Planning and Development.
Mr. Keefe was a member of Airports Council International and served many years as Chairman. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Covington, KY, along with Big Brothers and Sons of American Revolution "SAR", both in Covington.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Todd Keefe; nephews, Robert Wickman and John Wickman. He was predeceased by his daughter, Katherine Keefe and son, Charles Keefe.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Indian River Estates. Inurnment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger, KY, at a later date.
