Robert M. Lorenz, 85, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, May 12, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
He was born April 4, 1923 in Robinson, IL.
He retired in 1979 as Manager of Plant Engineering and Maintenance for DCM&G for General Electric Company in Erie, PA. He moved to Vero Beach in 1992 and enjoyed the AARP and Mens Golf leagues at Sandridge. He was a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity in Vero Beach. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years Elizabeth S. Lorenz of Vero Beach; daughters Kristin Joss and Nancy Janiuk; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Lorenz was predeceased by a daughter Mary Ann Lorenz and brother James Lorenz.
Services: A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Lexington, NC at a later date. Burial will be at St. Catherines Cemetery in Titusville, Pennsylvania.
