Robert Joseph Malone, 73, of Port St. Lucie, FL died Monday, October 27, 2008 at the Port St. Lucie Medical Center.
Mr. Malone was born June 23, 1935 in Holyoke, MA and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1990 from Milford, MA.
He received a BBS from the American International College in Springfield, MA, an MBA from the Babson Institute in Boston, MA and an MS in Taxation from the Washington School of Taxation. Prior to his retirement he had operated his own accounting service in Massachusetts.
He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. Mr. Malone was of the Roman Catholic Faith, a member of the Knights of Columbus and Chamber of Commerce in Milford, MA.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Anne Malone of Port St. Lucie; son Robert E. Malone of Northborough, MA; daughter Kelly A. Malone of Sewanee, TN; brother Jack W. Malone of South Hadley, MA; two sisters Marilyn Beaudreau of Springfield, MA and Rosemary DeFranzo of Feeding Hills, MA; and two grandchildren.
Services: Private family services will be held at a later date.
