Robert G. McGee, 89, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, December 18, 2009 at the JFK Medical Center in Lake Worth, FL.
Mr. McGee was born March 30, 1920 in Dell Rapids, SD and moved to Vero Beach in 1982 from Chelmsford, MA.
He was a district manager for the National Distillery & Chemical Corporation for the Massachusetts/Rhode Island area. He was a veteran of WW II, serving in the US Air Force.
Mr. McGee was a member of the Exchange Club and a Little League volunteer in Massachusetts. He was a past president and served on the Board of Directors of the Countryside Social Congregation and he was active at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his son Gary R. McGee of Lowell, MA, daughter Cheryl M. Cellucci, Belmont, MA, son Gregg R. McGee of Wellington, FL, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his wife Pauline C. McGee.
Services: A Mass will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, December 21, 2009 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach.
