Robert Joseph Popola, 69, of Fort Pierce, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach. Mr. Popola was born March 4. 1944 in Elizabeth, NJ. He had been a resident of Fort Pierce since 1986, coming from Miami. Prior to his retirement he worked as a printer and owned and operated video retail stores. Survivors include his wife of thirty years, Angela Joy Larkins; sons, Robert Alfred (Giselle) Popola of Miami, and Michael Cupp of West Palm Beach; brother, John (Loretta) Popola Sr. of Medlow Park, NJ; sister, Violet Bouno of Parlin, NJ; brother, Patrick Popola of Fairfield, CA; brother, Thomas (Mary Ann) Popola of Fort Washington, MD; and three grandchildren, Stephanie and Jasmine Popola and Christina Cupp. He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Cupp. Services: A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home and Crematory in Vero Beach. Father Tri Pham of Saint Helen Catholic Church will be officiating.
