Robert Charles Richter, Jr. of Sebastian, FL died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at his residence.
He was born September 7, 1935 in Derby, CT and was a resident of Sebastian for 22 years, coming from Seymour, CT.
Mr. Richter graduated from Ansonia High School in Ansonia, CT, attended Highpoint College, NC, graduated from Connecticut School of Electronics. He owned and operated Tristate Audio/Visual Equipment in Branford, CT and served in the US Army for three years. Robert loved fishing, boating and crossword puzzles.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years Annie Miserez Richter of Sebastian, FL; sons Robert C. Richter, III. of Belgrade, ME, Kenneth A. Richter of Oxford, CT; daughters Laurie A. Gittings of Seymour, CT, Karen E. Johnson of Palm Bay, FL; brother William A. Richter of Oxford, CT; sisters Shirby Strang of Derby, CT, Karen Coppola of Orange, CT; nine grandchildren; eleven nephews and nieces and many old friends.
A memorial service will be held at Great Hill United Methodist Church in Seymour, CT. Burial in Great Meadows Cemetery, Seymour, CT.
