Robert James Schasane, 81, of Vero Beach, FL died Monday, April 5, 2010 at his home after an extended illness.
Mr. Schasane was born October 24, 1928 in Walkegan, IL and later moved to Vero Beach in 1973 from Miami, FL.
He served in the US Army. Mr. Schasane had owned the Piggly Wiggly in Fort Pierce, FL and was a former special deputy with IRCSO. Mr. Schasane was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Yolanda Schasane of Vero Beach, son, Tom Schasane of Aurora, CO daughters Ruthie Schasane of Vero Beach, Laura Eaton of Orlando, FL and Cathy Mongole of Miami, FL, brother Joseph Schasane of Vero Beach; sister Dorothy Kalinowski of Sarasota, FL and one grandson.
